The ALTEC 2017 – XVII Latin Ibero-American Congress on Management of Technology is the biannual event of the Association, to be held for the third time in Mexico, where it took place in the years 1987 and 2003.

Diverse editions of the congress have also been held in the following countries: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Spain, Peru, Portugal and Venezuela.

The realization of this congress is one of the association’s main activities, and is an exceptional opportunity to discuss and reflect on the latest trends in innovation policy and management in Ibero-America, as well as to expand and consolidate the cooperation networks and connections between individuals and academic, government and social institutions in the region.
