The 25th International Congress of History of Science and Technology (ICHST) will be held in the city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from 23 to 29 July 2017, with the general theme “Science, Technology and Medicine between the Global and the Local”.
The Congress theme is broadly and encourage studies of the History of Science, Technology and Medicine at the global, national and local levels, across all periods, and from a variety of methodological and historiographical approaches.
Among the activities scheduled there are plenary conferences and panels, symposia and business meetings. The DHST Young Scholars Prize will be awarded in the last day of the Congress, before the closing ceremony.
