EUROSTAT is the Statistical Office of the European Union and represents one of the main regional organisations in the production of science, technology and innovation indicators, providing useful statistical data for technology intelligence. Mainly, Eurostat focuses on collecting, analysing and producing comparable statistical data at a European level, both for support in the formulation of public policies and decision-making by organizations and citizens.
