On January 16 and 23, the "Genomics for Production and Biodiversity Management" Symposium takes place in Lugo (Spain). It is organized by the ACUIGEN genetics research group with the support of the Terra Campus of the University of Valencia.
These meetings offers the opportunity to listen and discuss genomics with Spanish experts in matters such as the improvement of forestry production, the conservation of biodiversity or genetic improvement in key sectors for the Galician economy. This forum is aimed at fostering collaboration among the productive sector and the university and technology centres, especially with Lugo research groups in areas such as animal and plant production, food security or the maintenance of rich biodiversity.
