From May 4 to 8, 2020, the National Congress and 6th International Biological Sciences Congress, organized by the Colombian Association of Biological Sciences (ACCB), will be held in La Guajira (Colombia) in collaboration with the University of La Guajira-Riohacha.
This annual meeting aims to increase research and facilitate the dissemination of scientific work, favouring communication between Colombian researchers and society. In this sense, its specific objectives are:
Foster interest in Biological Sciences.
Group people working in teaching, research and dissemination in Biological Sciences.
Advise the entities dedicated to the teaching, research and dissemination of Basic Sciences.
Promote teaching, research and dissemination in Biological Sciences.
Disseminate the knowledge that indigenous communities apply about the biological species in their environment.
