On March 31st Madrid starts #VenceAlVirus – Virtual Hackathon. An online meeting that aims to involve scientists, academics, innovative professionals and civil society to find answers to three fundamental challenges that have to do with health communities, employment and business. The final objective is to select 15 projects and put them into operation as soon as possible.

Officially, this event begins on March 31st, with the opening of the process for registering ideas and participants on the event’s website. In parallel, the first working groups will also be created to contact more than 50 mentors and experts who have joined the initiative. The committee of experts, after the virtual meeting, will select on Monday, April 6, the 15 best proposals and its final presentation will take place on Monday, April 13.

The multidisciplinary teams that will participate are made up of professionals from the university world, from research, entrepreneurs, businessmen and members of civil society from the maker movement, citizen science and students, among others.
